Introducing Katie Henderson, STAMP participants participating in the upcoming IFAMA 2024 World Conference agribusiness

April 21, 2024
The Agrifood Management Programme for Strategic Thinking (STAMP) is an AGMARDT (The Agricultural and Marketing Research and Development Trust) funded project that expedites the growth of #skills and enhances sector knowledge among our aspiring #agrifood leaders, empowering them to effectively apply these capabilities. STAMP is organized by FoodHQ, with academic support from Massey University.

Ten of our STAMP participants will be participating in the upcoming IFAMA 2024 World Conference agribusiness-specific Global Student Case Competition — the only one of its kind globally — providing students and their universities a world stage to showcase future #primarysector leaders.

This year our participants will be heading off to the beautiful Almería, in Southern Spain, (17-20 June).
As we head towards the event we will be show-casing some of our outstanding STAMP participants.

Introducing Katie Henderson and her remarkable journey within our cohort.

As I am in my second year of the STAMP programme, this year I am hoping to further develop my #casestudy analysis skills and network with new members joining the cohort. As a PhD candidate at the The University of Auckland, STAMP allows me to step outside my comfort zone and challenge my thinking. I particularly like that we focus on ‘real-world’ #agrifood problems that I might not otherwise look at. This year I also have the privilege of attending the IFAMA Conference taking place in Spain. I hope my team can take out first place in the Case Competition after placing third in the graduate category last year. I am excited to take part in the EU agri-food innovation field trip after the conference, during which I hope to create international connections and bring home new ideas.
