Read on to hear about Louis Bately’s experiences on the STAMP programme.
“I was fortunate enough to be on the Strategic Food and Agribusiness Management Programme (STAMP) for two years, finishing up in November 2023. The programme helped build my capability immensely, mainly due to how it was structured.
The programme takes a diverse cohort of diverse individuals from all aspects of the agrifood industry, and some adjacent industries, and educates them using the Harvard case method, a form of teaching where students read case studies and debate them in...
LandWISE – “STAMP Field Trip – IFAMA 2024”
23 August, 2024
“Last year I joined the STAMP (Strategic Thinking Agri-Food Marketing Program) for young professionals working in the agri-food sector. The program is supported by Massey University, AGMARDT and FoodHQ. We meet four times a year to connect, and through workshops, case study analysis, and discussions, we are provided with a platform to gain insights into different parts of the primary sector, given networking opportunities and are supported to develop the skills needed as future leaders in the industry.
In June this year, I was chosen for one of two teams attending the...
Farmers Weekly “Embracing our identity, roots and kai”
29 July, 2024
Great to see the interaction and reach the recent STAMP EU tour has had. This week Farmers Weekly published an article featuring Katie Henderson, one of the STAMP cohort who went to Europe on the trip and her key takeaways.

STAMP Bringing home the W at the IFAMA case study competition 2024!
8 July, 2024
Such an amazing achievement. Our STAMP teams have done an amazing job in Almería, representing what New Zealand’s young professionals have to offer. One of our STAMP cohort teams brought home the win and the other team secured second for us at the IFAMA Global Network 2024 case study competition. This is an amazing achievement; they have truly showcased what our young professionals are capable of. After concluding the competition, the cohort then went on a wider EU tour, exploring agrifood innovation.

Over the course of this week the two teams (accompanied by our very own Dr Victoria Hatton) will be competing in the early career professional’s category. They will be given case studies that they are to break down, analyze, and provide solutions via a presentation with a power point within a 4-hour timeframe. Whereafter they will present to a panel of judges that decide if the teams will progress to the finals round in the competition. Once the teams have finished the competition, they will then take a wider EU tour, exploring agrifood innovation.
